    Vase in sgraffito
    Valbruna, Italy
    Circa 1955
    11" high

    During my exploration of mid-century Italian ceramics I discovered the wares of Valbruna, Italy. This is my first piece and I am loving the high relief sgraffito in combination with asymetrical rustic shapes that pop with color. As with all the pieces I have come across the mark is simply Valbruna and Italy scripted across the bottom. I haven't found any historical information about Valbruna ceramics and welcome your help.
