    Ms.Crystal…
    (115 items)

Isn’t it wonderful when you know your jewelry?! This little guy was listed as “Vazira Queen”, which is a contemporary jewelry company in present production. But I took one look at the hallmark and knew I was looking at a VALENTINO! Now, as a rule I do not collect figurals, unless they are made by D & E, or older KJL. But knowing the value of this lovely little sapphire turtle with a faceted focal stone bezel set in his golden shell with three different sizes of rhinestones pave’ set for the rim of his shell, his feet, head and tail, I couldn’t pass him up. He is very heavy, but only a little over 2” in length. I have seen a set in ruby go for $750! And a frog with an emerald stone sold for $850! I doubt I will ever wear him but we shall see. Maybe I’ll keep my eyes out for the earrings. VALENTINO as of course most of you know, is an Italian Fashion designer, and he started adding jewelry in the 60’s or so I read. This little guy isn’t quite vintage, as he is from the 80’s , but he’s getting there! VALENTINO’s jewelry is very sought after, but alas, very pricey......
    ENJOY!

A wonderful piece, I love turtles but no collection. A hefty price always makes the blood go faster, whethet or not if they are real diamonds. Congrats on finding this real beaute !~

I love it! Shocking how expensive designer jewels are. I love Valentino Garavani too. Great movie called "valentino, the last emperor".

My sincere apologies for such a late response, but I literally haven’t been home in over a week! FAMILY BBQ’s, Birthday Picnic, watching my Grandson’s, etc! Today I’m not leaving the house! Ha!

Thank you sincerely to all who loved this over- priced little turtle...

Thank you Scott, for always being in my corner with such sweet comments!

Phil, I love Turtles too! Have a tiny Sterling turtle with a turquoise cabochon for his shell my Mother made for me many many years ago. It goes with me everywhere!

Lori, he is a pretty “lil critter” indeed! . Thank you, my friend! And thanks for the second look, he is small but mighty! Ha! Very heavy, made with excellence, hence the price?

Mary, Yes! The prices of these pieces are shocking! I usually don’t like to mention prices, but these are sky high! Why? Because of the Valentino logo? Sheesh! I paid nothing for this little guy, then again, like I mentioned, it was listed as a contemporary piece, NOT!

Once agin, accept my apologies, my family keeps me busy, but I guess that’s better than sitting at home day after day, staring at a computer screen or TV. ( I would go absolutely nuts! Ha!)
      Love back to all!!

MrsT, this find was totally an accident! Don’t ask me what I was doing looking at turtles! HA! I believe the seller had something else I was looking at and then I hit “ other items” and there he was, in all his little over priced glory! Thank you so much for your comment, very kind indeed!

Vynil! Made me laugh! Then, you always do!
Thanks for the love and comment on this snooty little turtle!
( he thinks he’s all that because he is designer, Ha!)
