This one is quite dark but livens up in the sun with the gold inclusions, has a colourful wavy pattern in the glass that is most obvious at the top and bottom. I think it is by Kamei as I found another for sale on Trade Me here in NZ and it still had the remains of a square sticker with rounded edges which looked much like Kamei stickers I have seen. Stands 298mm tall.
Kamei was an exporter, not a glass maker.
There was also a Kamei America that was U.S. importer. As far as I have been able to determine there was no connection between the two companies.
These are like a dark secret to me, apparently lifeless until they are in light, then bang, all sorts of things appear!
