Hello everyone!!
This is the last of the cast iron fox doorstops I have in my collection (for now anyway). This one is depicting a sleeping fox. These sleeping fox doorstops were mostly made by unknown foundries, but Virginia Metalcrafters also produced one of these and marked theirs with the VM hallmark. This one is made by an unknown foundry. Most versions made were similar, but not identical. Some of these were painted a shade of red and some were painted black, like this one is. It measures 6 7/8" long and 3 7/8" wide. It's solid cast iron and weighs a bit over 4lbs.
