I just received this 1930's brass/bronze slave bracelet online. The cabs are mottled green Czech glass - lovely! Cab is .5" to give you scale. I was a little bummed that a redo of last link had been made sometime over the years. I didn't notice that. Oh Well! Buyer, beware, look before purchasing! It's still pretty neat and looks good with my other costume "slave" bracelets. Dang that red one was quite the find. Technically, the black and bronze isn't "slave", it's marked Coro.

Slave bracelets is a general term relating to Egypt craze in jewelry, home accessories, furniture, etc. from 1923 discovery of King Tutakhamen's tomb by Howard Carter.

Here's one that isn't costume, I posted years ago:

Now these you just don’t see every day! Well before our time, and in such good condition!
I of course, love the red one! 1930’s...think about it, someone was wearing these before WWII!! Great post Mary! True vintage bracelets! ( no 90’s stuff) Ha!

Thank you Eileen! Definitely not 90's jewelry. So flipping amazing and in my favorite color of green. Seller hid the fact of the Redo. I was mad for a little while, but the price was decent. It was my fault for not asking more questions. But that red bracelet!? Yes, so gorgeous. These vintage slave bracelets are very nice. My 14K slave bracelet doesn't get worn much. It is a little precious. LOL

Just amazing bracelets! (The blue stones even look somewhat like Sherman Art Glass design.)

Thanks for your comment Daisy. I wish I knew more about the blue bracelet - it's unsigned.

Thanks Lori for reminding me to add a little or a lot of history to each post.

Thanks friends for the loves - Anything Obscure, Manikin, Kevin, Scott, Dave, fortapache, kwqd, watchsearcher, Jenni, Thomas, vintagelamp, Karen.
