I have this Sessions mantel clock with a paper label underneath. The label indicates that it is a Goldstar 8 day strike. I cannot find any info or pictures re this model. Can anyone give me any further info e.g. year made etc.

Hello Ben,
Could you possibly post a well lit photo of the label and maybe a couple more of the clock and its movement? It's a black enameled wood case mantel clock against a dark background. It is kind of dark so I can't see a lot of detail.
It resembles the Sessions Model "Eureka" but I see some slight differences so I don't think that is what you have here.
Judging from comparable models, I would guess that your clock is circa 1910 give or take five years.
It appears to be missing the four ornate feet that one normally sees with clocks from Sessions. If there are missing feet you should find two screw holes at the bottom of each corner.
The pink flowers (Roses) are a nice touch against the black background but I think that they may have been placed by one of the clock's owners. I've never seen anything like that coming out of the Sessions Factory.
I hope that helps a little.
More photos could be very helpful. A lot of things can happen to a clock over the course of a Century.

Thanks for your input. I just noticed that the legs have been replaced with rubber ones and there are holes where the old legs were. Very hard to photo the label but other than instructions to regulate etc it says in red "Goldstar. 8 day Half Hour Strike. Sessions Clocks Reliable as Time Itself". Not sure whether the label belongs but it is an original one. Your point about the flowers is what I have been surmising. The clock keeps good time. There are no markings on the back of the movement. Pendulum weight has a big S on it.
