Hi there .. Have come across this old girl .. I know she’s a boudoir doll but not much else. ..a fellow bought this and a few other dolls as part of an elderly lady’s estate but doesn’t know anything further.. I purchased a lovely pedigree doll but noticed this one .. I haven’t had a good look at her yet as I wouldn’t know what I’m looking for .. he is asking $50 ono. Is anyone able to give me more info on this particular doll and what markings I should be looking for ( if any) , how to know what she’s made of and how to gauge if clothing/hair is original please? Thanks in advance for any help .
How tall is she ? I don't believe she is a boudoir doll. I have never seen her before, but she is made and painted much like my store manikins . Her painting reminds me of Dewee's Cochran dolls . Very unusual and looks to painted with oil vs acrylic . I would love to see more of her legs .
Hi Thanks for responding. as far as I know she is still at this fellows shop .. I may pop in there sometime again. soon... if I do I'll take a better look at her and her length and take more photos .. hopefully that can help with identifying her.. thanks :-)
I would be curious and buy her . I would try to offer a little less. She is well done a human hair wig she looks like made in 40's and clothes newer . Need more photo's :-)
