I have recently come across an old bicycle that I would like know a little more about. I don’t know the year or model, but the original color was black, instead of the poor red paint job as seen. So as for the history of it one can only guess. I had a relative who was trying to get rid of it and me being a lover of old things, I fell in love with it right away. Sadly the main mechanical parts were stripped away. The only writing on the bike is a little circular disk that says Sturmey Archer England by where the chainring should be. It is possibly a foreign bike and I would love to put a name on the frame. I would like any help as to identify this bike!!

It looks like a Columbian stow away bike. Note how it breaks in half. Look for numbers towards the back of the bike where the axel goes thru , one side or the other.

I also thought it was from the Columbian family as well, that was my first guess. Found the numbers, its on the bottom of the axel there are two lines. First number says 507-459211 and the second is a little hard to read, best guess 2H9 9479. This bike does come a part and is held together with wingnuts.
