I am trying to find out what style this may be which could tell me the age. Also, if anyone could help me figure out what maker made this that would be great. There is a matching dining room table and curio that are not pictured. The only marking on it are the 4 numbers on the back, which are pictured. Every other piece of furniture out of this house was from 1800-1930.

It looks Empire period, late 19th century from what I can see. Its reminiscent of pieces made in Cork Ireland but cannot attribute positively right now. The carving is so beautifully done !~

Possibly Scottish design instead of Irish, as I can now see the scottish thistle incorporated into the design. During the Empire or Regency in England furniture like this came out and also later 19th century when they revived such pieces. During that time a lot of pieces like this came out made in France or England where they used much of the same designs. It is much more complex than American Empire design, but to me very remiscent of Scottish design during the time England had its Regency period. The piece has some high quality, beautiful period carving to it !~

      Empire.

Based on what you have shown, I'd think very late 19th century to early 20th century.

A photo of the drawer joint and back may help in refining the date.
