    Ms.Crystal…
    (114 items)

I know this in’t vintage, but I just had to share! Hope you all get a good laugh, I sure did.
Can someone really not know what a mountain lion is? Complete with “ butterfly” face. This mellow cat must be very young, and not fear humans. Or maybe since “tabby” was fed three big cans of tuna, he’s quite content for the time being. Enjoy for the day, then I’m gonna delete!
    ENJOY! ( seriously, where’s this guy’s brain?)

I have enough trouble giving an eight pound domestic cat a bath.

That cat is so adorable that I would want him as a pet. I bet he could eat a whole bucket of the Colonel's chicken in one sitting !~
      Thanks for posting this picker-upper.

      Keramikos,
Make sense! No one is that dumb. And there is always someone that has to call the authorities, ugh.
When I lived in See Canyon, we got a new “ neighbor” that just didn’t belong in the country. The atrocities they did to the wildlife made me sick. She called me over to our common fence one day with “big news”, saying the fish and game came out because she reported seeing a mountain lion near her property ( her property? The lions were here first, believe me) She was excited to tell me they tracked and killed a female lion. It was springtime. All I said to her was, “ let’s hope the poor car had no cubs waiting for her”. And I walked away and never spoke to her again. We always put our dogs in “the honey house” at night. In the morning we let them out. Why? So we would have dogs in the morning. That poor cat was probably looking for food, and she got killed for it. Some people don’t belong in the country...
Ok, this was supposed to be-a fun post...I’m done

      Keramikos,
I made the mistake of looking at your link. The dead mountain lion, and those horrible men with their dogs that killed that beautiful cat. Makes me sick....now I can’t get it out of my head. Please understand why I am deleting them. This was supposed to be a fun post. No one needs to see that! I just don’t understand why people would want to do that. I lived in the canyon for decades. Saw two mountain lion the whole time. They keep to themselves, they see you before you see them.

You can repost the “hoax” but I don’t want death in my post.
      Thank you for understanding...:)

      Ms.CrystalShip, Nope, I getcha.

Too many people move to a rural area because they understandably want privacy, open space, etc., but then they seem to want the rural area laminated in plastic for their safety.

The plight of mountain lions is an especially pointed issue in California, because there are both a lot of mountain lions and a lot of people competing for space, and mountain lions are seen even in urban areas.

This is only one of many sad stories, but it's the one I remember:

      People suck...
Had another neighbor who said, he hated Oak Trees? Huh?
Then why live in the country? When these types moved in, it was time to move out!
You got it, they want the privacy and all that, but not what comes with it. Sharing space with the “natives”....

I agree, they are not making independent people anymore-no COMMON SENSE. A nd they move out to the country and try to change us. They will never change me. Just leave us old country boys alone!!

      Bobby..AMEN TO THAT!

Thank you all for enjoying this fun post! I had no idea it was all over the web, but thanks to our researcher, keramikos, we all found out it was a hoax, pretty funny one at that. I got a good laugh....
