I'm so excited! Just put a deposit down on this and picking it up on the weekend! How do I know how old this is?

      Hi, rigbyblue. :-)

Beautiful. It looks like it might originally have had extension leafs that could be inserted?

I don't know the age, but there are collectors here with furniture expertise, so hopefully one of them will be able to help you.

They'll want to know if there are any identifying marks, so if there are, adding pictures of those will help. Also, pictures of joinery could help.

There is a limit of four pictures per post, so if that isn't enough, you can make another post, and link the posts in the comments section.

Looks to be a Sears Roebuck Table . They were popular during the 30's -50s. If you do a bit of searching online you can normally find photos of them in clippings. Normally sold for $16-$25 at the time depending on the customizations the customer wanted (porcelain casters, 5th leg, etc.)
