I am going to say I think this doll was bought nude and dressed by a Amish person , I see hand sewing that is the quality Amish use so perfect . Likely sold as a tourist doll by Amish community store . I do not believe she is in factory clothes but redressed . Very nice

I also believe she has been repainted on face . I could be wrong but eyes don't look professionally done .

I think her face is original. She looks like she was made in the 60s period! I wonder if she was a 'blank' that you could purchase and paint at home or in small lots like an Amish community to sell.

Yes I agree Celine I should have worded it different . Her face not necessarily repainted but painted by someone that was not a professional or factory . Hard to know for sure .

I also think doll is older than clothes .She is composition. But without a marking on her hard to tell maker , She is wonderful and I would just enjoy her and maybe touch up lips :-)
