    Hello everyone!!
About 4 years ago, I posted a National Foundry "The Scottie" cast iron Scottish Terrier doorstop. Here's the Hubley version of that one. It was show as #305 in their 1930 catalog and marketed as "Scotty". This Hubley version is slightly larger than the National Foundry version. The Hubley version was also sold with a leather collar and leash, but I've yet to see any of those original collars and leashes that have survived nearly 100 years later. This one is still in very nice condition. It's a two piece design held together with two screws or bolts. Scotty measures 11" long and 9" tall. I believe he still retains his original paint.

Thanks very much for stopping in for a look!!
    Scott

      vintagelamp,
There are a lot of reproductions out there, and the originals like this seem to always be way overpriced. I won this fellow in an auction for $25.

Thanks a bunch!! I like this size as well. I have a few more Scotty dogs in my collection that I'll have to post sometime soon.
