Today's arrival - my third Welz shoe!
This one is particularly vibrant - with a dark spatter that is cased in amber, with an opaque yellow interior.
There is an applied clear rigaree around the top of the boot, & a clear acanthus leaf.
The yellow lining is a bit different - my other two Welz shoes both have white interiors. The yellow is one used by Welz in other items, distinctive for it's orange glow under UV light.
This was a super way to start the day, just before I went to have my first Covid vaccination...
I like the décor on this one, Marin. I think it may be different from the décor called cadmium spatter, hmm.

I love these welz whimseys! I see you have both versions-- the shoe and the taller boot.

Yes, I was really pleased to get my shot, my second one is in three weeks time. Being immune compromised I will feel a lot more confident for the future!

The cadmium glow was a nice surprise, when I saw it on eBay the photos weren't very good so I couldn't see the exact colours of the decor. It's always good when an item looks better in real life!

I have as you suggested shone a small uv torch on my Welz vases and do have some cadmium reaction I believe [The little torch is a toy]
