    Beautiful set of 12 knives Mom gave me ... could anyone identify the "T and double eagle" mark? I have the American silver mark book but I expect these are German made -- or -- ??? THANKS in advance if anyone can I.D.

      You should be able to find the maker mark in the International Silver makers Encyclopaedia. Is there an actual silver assay mark or are you assuming it is silver? The link below will help.

      Be aware that without an assay mark this may well be silver plated.

      Just the decorative band is marked Sterling. The blade is stainless. THANKS!
