I found this at Goodwill several years ago. There was a very small piece of paper , which said if I remember correctly, Worlds Fair 194? The stamp has FR NECEL in the middle....any thoughts or knowledge? I absolutely love it. Looks like some of the Czech and Polish ceramics..

      Polish. Necel.

"The workshop was founded in 1907 by Franciszek Necel, who came to Chmielno in 1897. His father, Micha? Necel VI (1831 - 1895), was the owner of a pottery workshop in Ko?cierzyna. After the death of his father, Franciszek sold the business in Ko?cierzyna and decided to look for happiness in America. After a few years, he had to return to his hometown with the remainder of his capital."
