These are vintage items from my US patriotic collection … for July 4.
1. This is a Sherman Jewelry, Montreal, Quebec, large pinwheel, 3”, rhodium, red, clear, Montana Blue. I have the matching earrings, bought the set together. I will add the earrings when I locate them. Accent back bunting photo for this is not my photo.
2. This plane is the Arizona Wing’s Sentimental Journey that saw action in the Pacific at the end of WWII and in the Korean War. The plane was on loan to RAF Bomber Command during WWII. The brooch is likely pewter, and is from my WWII collection.
3. This is the Sentimental Journey again, on the tarmac in Calgary, Alberta. It was piloted by both an American pilot and a Canadian Navy pilot. The brooch again, is vintage WWII patriot jewelry.
4. WWII humorous patriotic postcard and Vaseline Bakelite, plastic jewelry — which came into its greatest popularity for women immediately after WWII.

(Just as an aside: We certainly do need many more people here on CW posting Sherman jewelry, don’t we. One site I belong to sees 7+ new and wonderful items shown every week. I will invite some of my friends to start posting on CW, so we all get to enjoy more Sherman jewelry from various nice vintage Sherman collections in the future. I have an average collection. Some people have phenomenal items.)
