No new model to post so instead a special edition version because we all have to do the red white and blue thing. It is still the 4th here although soon it will not be.
Here we have a pair of MB 55s and Ford Galaxies although they are different pairs.
The Ford Galaxies were used for the MB 55 Police Car and MB 59 Fire Chief Car from 1963 through 1965. In 1966 both were replaced by a new improved larger version. I have mentioned before how Matchbox models got larger. The 1966 version is the standard size for 1/64 scale die cast vehicles since then. Although now the true 1/64 scale has become popular.
In the meantime have an acceptable 4th and 5th of July.
