This 2"W goldtone brooch has two lovebirds on a branch, with white rhinestone backs, red eyes, tiny light green rhinestone branch accents, and green-yellow enameling. By Kramer (1943-1980) ca the 1950s

Cute little birds! They remind me of the way doves perch together on branches, pairs of doves always seem so gentle, loving and inseparable and though these two are smaller and maybe even songbirds, it's dove I think of seeing these. They have a lovely light gold colour too! :)

Thanks Mary for the great praise for my tweety birds, they are kinda sweet and a very vintage Kramer I was lucky to get ahold of - it also came in aqua enamel & can be seen on the "pin" images
Lauren yes, why not a pair of romantic turtledoves, they certainly appear to be vocalizing, perhaps 'whispering sweet nothings' lol :) I always enjoy seeing more than one bird on a branch even in glass, you always wonder what they are saying to each other.
