W. GERMANY BROOCH Fruit Cluster
This colorful Bakelite era pin is comprised of wooden beads surrounded by a circle of Limes, Oranges, Bananas, Cherries, Light Green Pears, Yellow Pears, Plums and Green Leaves.
The back is gold tone metal and is marked W. Germany.

Lovely piece! I am just a bit confused: Is it marked Germany or W. Germany? I cannot read the mark. If it is marked W (est) Germany, it must be from around 1949 to around 1990. Basted on the style, I would say closer to 1949 than the later date. It does remind me a bit of Carmen Miranda:)

freiheit - the mark is a circle and it appears to have the W(est) after : GERMANY W.
