    All I could find was the emblem is from Hotpoint. It looks like it came straight from the fridge because you can see where it was screwed in. Think it’s made of aluminum. Can’t find much on it! Would like to know what year it’s from.

      I think I found something very similar:

      Leftover tray for a ge or hotpoint refrigerator swing out basket.

      Listing is for one container and one lid in choice of aqua or white. 3 originally came in the basket.

      So the metal basket was designed to hold three plastic (or perhaps melamine) lidded containers.
