This is a very nicely made sterling pin made by Sherman Jewelry in their first few years, late 1940's. It looks very much like something Jay Flex was making at the time. It could have been signed other than Sherman, but a brooch Sherman perfected before he moved on to being one of North America's kings of jewelery in the 1950's and 1960's. The signature here seems to be his first and that is in a round circle. The sterling silver leaves are also very similar to what Jay Flex was putting out. I got this from the states which I hate to buy from as they always charge import duties. There should be no import duties for items made in Canada but Customs here is as greedy as they get and always charge first and ask questions never.
