    Rittenhouse Square area of Phila. Looks like it’s marked 1928. It is a perfect example of of a Majestic Underground Receiver for garbage or composting.

      My house has an in ground metal garbage can. We used to use it before the plastic bins and when garbage guys dumped cans manually..I'll have to take some pictures.
