Like the fashions of the 1960s, this trio of brightly enameled owl brooches from that decade will dazzle your eyes:
Marcel Boucher 1 1-2" red enamel & mini white rhinestone owl in 'Faberge egg' design;
Crown Trifari 2" white & dark blue enamel owl with green cab eyes; and
JJ Jonette 1 1-2" lime & dark green enamel owl with orange cab eyes
All owls are in goldtone settings and are marked on back

A really nice trio of owls...or a 'parliament' I believe a group of owls may be called?! All are so colourful, I'm not sure which to say is my favourite because all are really lovely though I'll say the green and the red remind me of fruit actually. The green reminds me of a pineapple or kiwi and the red is like a raspberry! I think it must be the structured sort of look of them. :)
That little green owl is a real looker, and really rounds out the set of all three, tieing them together !

Thank you Lauren for the terrific praise for my owl 'parliament' trio, aren't they just so bright & cheery - do you know one of the reasons a group of owls is called a parliament is they look so wise. Fruit is an excellent comparison for them, the green one does have pineapple markings & the red brings to mind summer berries. Very cool and accurate visuals!

Phil I have to agree, the green owl has the most personality & great design features, love those citrus slices around the eyes. I've had the white Trifari fellow since forever, then came the red Boucher and recently found the green Jonette, they're all bright goldtone horned owls so I figured why not put them together for a cool summertime post. Karen thank you for your super comment and great suggestion for wearing this owl trio all together, that just may be what I'll do come autumn when I get the coats out. Those staring eyes will certainly garner some attention, can you imagine how they would look in a darkened room watching a stage play to illuminate them lol :)
