HObbylines 1955 set #411 The Wall Street. This is the latest HObbyline set I have acquired. Also, it is my first boxed HObbyline passenger set. It is powered by a Lehigh Valley FM H-12-44. pulling a combine and two coaches. This is the only time HObbyline made a Lehigh Valley train set. HObbyline never powered their Berkshire kit locomotive. It would have been perfect pulling either the older style cresatory roof combine and day coaches or the more modern streamlined pullman train set. Also, a Lehigh Valley Corillian Red with black striped Alco FA-1 twin set pulling a streamlined Asa Pasker or Black Diamond train set would have been great to see.
Don't let anyone tell you it is not necessary to keep the original box for just looking at the condition of the pieces in the set will convince you otherwise. This is a 51-year-old set and it is still pristine in color and detail.
Love that they used a Fairbanks Morse for the locomotive.
