I have an old Post Office sign from the original 1908 coal town of Elkol, WY. My Dad actually found the sign buried in the sand under an old rubbish heap in the ruins of the old post office. It's in pretty good shape, a little rust and a few bullet holes, but the paint is pretty good, raised black letters on a silver background.
It looks to be made from stamped tin or steel.
Anyone know what something like this is worth or who would deal in this type of sign? I don't collect signs, it's just something my Father recently left me.

Here's a book I found about the town and it's history.
Perhaps a merging of two of Wyoming’s hallmarks, elk and coal,
this mining town was established in 1908.....
