This pot in blue version 119 was available with and without frills. It was made for Ludwig Fränkel in Berlin (1911). So far it is still not really clear who designed this decor. There are references in the MAK that point to Hofstätter, but apart from this photo there is no real evidence. I assume that it is a decoration (a further development in the context of the many checkered techniques) of the hut and that it was probably created a few time earlier under the direction of Eduard Prochaska. There is evidence that Hofstätter later designed the shapes of the four vessels (PN II 8013-8014 / 1), which were then executed in version 119. Perhaps the Lötz company used, as they did with the pearl glass at Prutscher, to present this decor in a Hofstätter design. A pot from PN II 7943 with an engraved decoration of flowers and birds has been preserved in the MAK in clear glass. Lobmeyer had this copy made around 1911/12, see PN 1181 / 770-10 ("Krystall glt. M. Rüschen"), it was shown in the museum's spring exhibition in 1912. A feature of the 119 version is the cut star (see the text in PN II 8014, "& star bottom") under the bottom, so to speak the "signature" for products of this version from the Lötz company. On the second photo you can see other pieces in version 119: PN II 6711, PN II 7452? and PN II 8131.

Loetz: Topf, PN ll 7943, in Ausführung 119.
