I found these lovely parrots today. I don't know whether they are gold or brass, but they are fur clips. I may be calling them the wrong name. Once again, if anyone could help I would truly appreciate it. There are no markings and I have yet to buy a metal testing product, so I just don't know. I think they are gorgeous.

Fur clips were worn on furs and were designed in such a way so as not to damage the fur. The fur clip was typically longer than dress clips and were pinned on to the fur by two sharp swivelling prongs attached to the back of the clip. This is why fur clips are also called double-pronged or pin-clips.

They are plated or gold washed but maybe simple metal or brass. Anyway they are fantastic ones that are beautiful. Like collar clips. Parrots and Furs do go well together !~
