    HELLO CW LAND!
I AM GOING TO SHOW TWO SEPARATE ITEMS HERE. THE FIRST IS A PANASONIC CASSETTE TAPE PORTABLE PLAYER/RECORDER WITH AUTO STOP.
    SLIM LINE DESIGN.
THE 2ND. ITEM IS THE SOLID WOOD BOX YOU SEE. HAS FRONT LATCH, SIDE HANDLES AND THE LID HAS HOLDING CHAIN WHEN LIFTED. ALL THE HARDWARE IS BRASS.
THE TAPE PLAYER WAS VERY POPULAR IN THE DAY FOR ALL SORTS OF RECORDING REASONS. WIDELY USED BY MUSICIANS WHEN WRITING AND USEFUL FOR SOME OF THOSE MIXED TAPES..WHAT IS STORED IN THE BOX.

    THANK YOU,
    T.

      Panasonic..my Husband bought everything Panasonic..
Our first VCR, in 1983, was a Panasonic, cost $1064. I know, I wrote the check, couldn’t talk him into a Sony for half the price!! Ha!
      Great post Thomas!
