HELLO TO ALL OF YOU NUMISMATIC'S OUT THERE...I AM SORT OF A COIN HOUND, NOT PURPOSELY AND ALL THE COINS I HAVE ARE FINDS THAT MOTHER NATURE HAS UNEARTHED OR IN SOME POCKET CHANGE AFTER GOING OUT TO THE MARKET FOR MILK AND BREAD.
THE UNITED STATES WHEAT PENNY. THEY WERE MINTED FROM 1909 UNTIL 1959, FOR 50 YEARS.
THESE ARE SOME THAT I HAVE ACCUMULATED OVER TIME.
I KEEP THEM IN THE CENTER OBJECT, A METAL CAN WITH LID OF THE LIKENESS OF THE WHEAT PENNY. IT ONCED CONTAINED PATRIOTIC ABE LINCOLN BREATH MINTS.
THE OLDEST I HAVE IN THE WHEAT PILE IS 1913...THE BEGINNING OF THE FIRST WORLD WAR.

    THANK YOU,
    T.

Like most collectors, I started with Wheats, and I still love them.

Beautiful Lincoln Cent. Can u show us the obverse of the coin.
I once, many many moons ago, had a 1909 VDB Lincoln penny. Lost, of course. I believe I bought a penny candy with it.

You should get the books to keep them in to protect them from rubbing together. I gave all my coins to my youngest son a couple years ago along with my silver certificate notes etc. My time here is drawing to a close so passing the reins so to speak.
