I was extremely lucky to find this fine example of Peloton glass as a cheap buy it now on eBay AU.
I hit that buy button SO hard. And it arrived very quickly, so even better.
The vase is made from two layers of cased glass, clear over a white lining, & is decorated with random Peloton threads, mostly of a lemon yellow colour, plus a few pink ones. It measures 18.5 cm tall, 1.8 cm across the top rim, & 4 cm across the base. No pontil mark.
The fourth photo shows it with another vase of similar form & size, which displays almost the reverse colour scheme - it has a yellow ground with mixed threads.
I think most likely Bohemian origin.

Thanks also, Michelle! I'm super happy with this one, feel really lucky to have spotted it...it was described simply as an unusual art glass vase. I've learned over the years to keep my search terms broad & not specific, because that seems to turn up some interesting "sleepers" from time to time...
