Almost filled my first dress form. Love collecting these old brooches. Takes a bit of time but I'm hoping to do at least 2. Also I found what one person called a "Vanity broom" in a 5.00 box of old misc things.

I agree w/RichmondLori -- what a WONDERFUL display idea, perhaps even moreso for me?! (as an old dude who just can't pull it off to actually *wear* such things, leaving my assortment mostly relegated to boxes and drawers... <groan> I don't yet have a dress form, but will certainly be looking to drag home the next one I run across...???!!! :-) :-) :-)

AO, that’s a fantastic idea- your brooches shouldn’t have to reside in a box just because of gender.
Niknak42, how lovely! I especially like the vanity broom. My grandmother always wore what she called “dusting powder” that she applied to herself with a poofy fluffy applicator. When she finished, there would be powder all over the dresser….she could have really used a vanity broom!
