    I found this very unique 28 1/2” x 31” in size hand carved handle dresser from the mid-1800s which is very unusual besides the appearance is what’s underneath on bottom here are pictures I will try to do my best to translate what’s under bottom would appreciate any help and information to…. Two flyers from the 1800s which says…. Wanted 500 teams to work on republican Valley rail Road Hasting to the red cloud $3 dollars a day and free transportation to the work apply to the first national Bank of Lincoln Neb.. or any station agent on the line of B & the M or Nebraska railroad August 3, 1878.. i’m not sure if it’s oak or walnut wood nevertheless a very nice attractive piece of furniture…. enjoy again I would appreciate any other information thank you very much

      Size would make me think it was made as a wash stand.

      Looks to be Victorian— a photo of dovetails would be helpful.

      Filled holes indicate it originally had two pulls per drawer— not just the one central pull. A photo showing the back of one of the current pulls may be helpful.

      Can’t see wood grain very well, but walnut is typical. Wood is not oak.
