This came in a 2 pack along with the Sox & Martin car I posted earlier. Got to get my monies worth out of it so two posts.
Dick Landy was a big name in Pro Stock drag racing in the 1970s. He was known for his trademark unlit cigar. Pro Stock was perhaps 3rd most popular class in drag racing. They look like production vehicles but they are not stock.
It is a good looking model but they fudged on the hood scoop. Looks like they used a standard hood instead of one like the actual car.
This was back before the cars turned into billboards for Captain Crunch and so on. It does have usual plethora of sponsor decals all for automotive parts and actually used on the car.
