There is also a little piece of paper i found inside the vase which said 'Made in China' and '12 al 10' or something like that in an old script. It's a beautiful vase and by the looks of the lamp, i'd say it was from around 1900.

I'm curious about the 'lamp part' -- if the knurled nut between the sockets is loosened, will it telescope/get taller??
i think it did a little, but not anymore. i'm enjoying it as a vase for now.

Please don't throw the lamp parts away if you don't want to use 'em...they're classic 1920-40's-ish, and I could use 'em if nothing else...??? ;-) ;-) :-) :-)
too difficult for me so lets do some blundering
famille verte kangxi STYLE ( so not famille rose )
which kangxi style the lappet style ( top of the vase green orange) the other is the meander style keyfret monocolor
under ist diamond design and within what is called called buddha,s Shakyamuni heart ( = swastika)in chinese they call it wan = 10000 ( metaphor + endlessly or eternal)
Blue Swastika stands for infinite celestial virtues
Red Swastika stands for infinite sacred virtues of the Heart of Buddha
Yellow Swastika stands for infinite prosperity.
Green Swastika stands for infinite virtues of agriculture
the circels among the diamond pattern are the Babao eight precious things and are mostly related to good fortune
assumption the red barbwire circle is probably the elaboration of the french lily design , which became very popular during the Qianlong period
the geometric symbols at the bottom are diaper design
the scene is known under the french name decor vegateaux et phoenix (samson porcelain )
the bird is an phoenix ( fengua)
assumption under the birds are the leached chalkrock /limestone
now the shit hits the fan because i don,t know
it is not fin de siecle ( 1900 on the dot) thedark green is IMO not dark and vivid enoug and the glazing is rather bleach
the bottom is an beehive crackle with spurious China word on it and and an spurious attrittion ( probably rubbed om different surfaces)
strange is that the glazing is diltuted, this probably is still republic period but not real early, if the pseudo ferro word China we are commited to the Tariff Act but hard to assess , but i am not sure
IMO there aren,t much FRAGMENTATED beehive crackes vases in the PROC period ( some Nanking porcelain and celadon ) , but i might have missed something
personnaly i am not so fond about this type of vases, but maybe i got different standards about quality , well there is no spill over on the vase , an close to mediocre shading, so it is ok and people love phoevix vases , so this will sell well in the lower middle segments

i am guessing but let,s say 1930-1960, you need an expert for mock mistaking
i got your design , only i got it on paper , so you have to put in some trust in me because the only reference i could find a somewhat later design without , the crackle in your vase is narrowing it down
and the later version was down the line ( end of retrail)
the other vase was 470 dollars
and i am still not that fond of it but IMO your vase is better , because of the vividness and the contrast in the trunk of the tree
personnaly if you ever sell toss the hardware
you lose some value , because of the hole , but no sweat
