A little something I picked up I picked up in Bakerfield. This is Green Beret figure #7 for me I think. The Green Beret Figure was first released in 1966 according to 3D Joes but I am thinking more like 1967. Anyway the figures were available in 1967-1968 I think.
The Green Beret figure is probably the most popular set with vintage GI Joe collectors. Every time it is favorite figure Friday on social media, Green Beret dominates.
Along with the Green Beret figure I got a set of GI Joe weapons. The common M1 Garand and three less common the M79 Grenade launcher, M60 machine gun and the bazooka. I believe the bazooka was first released with the Green Beret as it is part of that set. The M79 and M60 were released in 1968 only as part of the Rifle Rack and Heavy Weapons set for the M60.
Got a few more 1/6 scale action figures so more action figure action to come.

I just got my first Green Beret this last November he is missing the field radio and his beret. Very minimal play wear. I've been on the lookout for quite sometime and finally found one. You are right he is a favorite Gi joe figure for sure. Your's looks in excellent condition and with the original strap on the M-15 very nice!!

      Thank you very much Phil.

Thank you very much elanski. It is a bit big.

Thank you very much roddy. This one is missing the radio but I have others plus the other pieces make up for it.

Eventually you will find the field radio Fort. This is good that you have extra accessories. The Green Beret is one Joe I will continue to search for to add new ones to my small collection.
