This 1 1-2" dolphin brooch has a curved design with white rhinestones, blue-green enamel and one teal eye, in a goldtone setting. Marked A&S for Attwood & Sawyer (1956-2003) from the 1980s

This dolphin is beautiful and adorable, at first, because of his stripe of colour, I thought he was a trout or salmon(he reminds me of one!) but...he's fabulous!
I love the stripe of blue green and then the white above, I think he's an Atlantic White Sided Dolphin and he's also leaping out of the sea(as they do!) :D
Like all dolphins, he looks like he's jumping, somersaulting and having loads of fun as all dolphins do!

Phil he is definitely making a splash rising out of the water, I love the moves of dolphins they have such energy & what appears to be a happy smile :) You're right, the gilding all around this fish is perfect, and I love the golden fins & mouth, so nicely sculpted. Lauren, an Atlantic white sided dolphin most definitely looks like the inspiration for this brooch, great eye my friend.
