Hello all. This is a bakelite brooch found at a yard sale. I have tested with scrubbing bubbles and I believe it is authentic. It look to be a dog or wolf showing teeth and tongue. Almost looks like a beware of dog Italian tile I have sold. It is approximately 2 1/2" in diameter. Could not find anything like it. The edge seems to be some kind of woven material. I have recently been informed that some of these bakelite piece are home pieces. Anyway, I think it is very unique and one of a kind.
