A beautiful hand made of gold and silver medal engraved to the 3RD Battalion of the Michigan National Guard. This medal made by M.S. Smith Jeweler's of Detroit Michigan, is of exceptional quality , and skillfully made. I believe this to be post Civil War, and pre Spanish American War . Note the other M.S. Smith medal I have posted , it is very similar in style. From my personal collection.
