I just purchased a group lot and this was the reason. I noticed this little guy and how different the back was. It looked really well made. I did a little research and found a couple similar ones that were gold and real stones. So, when I received this I looked at it and saw two very small hallmarks on back. They were hard to read, but I suspect it is gold. My loupe is packed away, but I will eventually get it looked at. Hope you enjoy

looking at the back I will agree with the fact that there are the two metals working together here. from what I have researched and found about collecting, is that if more than two forms of media / material / crafts are used in a single piece the more valuable the item. Here I can see three to start without seeing the piece live. Very nice post, thank you, got me to come back and look more than once. Lori
