I have this Tyco -The Royal Blue 17pc. Train set, it’s electric and can produce steam. It was bought by my mother as a gift to me either in the late 70’s or early80’s. However, I was never allowed to play with it. I just found it in the original box.

I don't know if there is a collectors market for these at this point. I buy a lot of Athearn boxed trains from the same period and I am paying $ for a boxed one and they are higher quality than Tyco. The locomotive may have some value. Check ebay sold auctions.
I have a lot more pics to go along with the set but it will only allow three, but that’s okay.
