I have no idea how old this bottle is. There appears to be a mold mark [line] part of the way up the side of the bottle on one side. How long does it take for this irridesecent flaking to take place? i found it at the flea market today.

A notable transition began around 1850 with far thicker lip designs, such as the Blob-top lip; its tulip-shape became popular on soda, beer, and mineral water bottles. Hey Pete, it depends where the Bottle was dug from, type of dirt or chemicals in it, and how much sunlight got to it! Not really a way that You can figure how old the Bottle is, from the iridescent look of the Bottle! :^D Thanks for Showing, I always try to buy Blob Top Bottles when I can find them at a good price and not cracked or badly chipped!
