Hello everyone!!
A recent find for me is this wonderful set of Scottish Terrier bookends. These are solid cast iron and still in fantastic condition. All that was needed was a thorough cleaning. These were made by Hubley, in the early 1900's, and were cataloged as #391 "The Scotty" bookends. I felt very fortunate to find these as a set as they are most often mistaken for doorstops and sold individually. These are essentially the miniature version of the Hubley #412 "Sitting Scottie" (shown in pic #4) that I posted several months back. These bookends measure 6 1/2 long, 4 7/8" tall and weigh in at 3lbs 8oz each.
