Hello everyone!!
This doorstop is sort of a rare find in the doorstop world. This is obviously a copy of the "Sitting Scottie" doorstop produced by Eastern Specialty Company as well as Sculptured Metal Studios. Both of those foundries had a nameplate label on the backside of theirs, whereas this one does not. So, obviously it's a copy. What makes this one unusual is that it's not painted, but copper plated instead. It's the only one I've seen like this. It has the same wonderful detail as the originals with the exception of it not being painted like the originals. This one measures 8 1/4" wide and 6 1/2" tall. It weighs 4.18lbs.

The plated one has its own charm and I love that there is still some plating, he seems to be in a contimplative mood here, which is unusual !~
