Hello everyone!
I recently acquired this wonderful antique cold painted bronze Gordon Setter. He is so incredibly detailed and still retains 95% of his original paint. He was made in Austria sometime between 1890 and 1910. He's the second cold painted bronze Gordon Setter that I have in my collection. He was very dirty when I got him and he was sold to me as a black cast iron dog, but I knew he was bronze and not cast iron at all. When I cleaned him up, I found that he was not solid black, but beautifully painted in black and tan. He measures 4 5/8" long, 3" tall and weighs 12oz.

I have most of my collection in climate controlled storage and, yes, it's well insured. There are some very pricy doorstops out there. I've been lucky enough to acquire several of the high dollar doorstops. The most valuable doorstops are kept inside my home.
