The oak chest was my grandfather's on my mother's side. He died in 1965 when I was 1. It resided in his workshop until around 1981 when Grandma died. I asked my uncle if I could have it and he said yes. I always used to climb up on a stool to look through it. It has a little tag on 1 of the drawers which would indicate that it may have been a "Commemorative chest" at 1939 worlds fair.
