This doll was purchased by my late grandfather on tour as a Navy Pilot. He collected dolls from around the world from 1925 until 1960.

She's a beautiful Japanese geisha lady
Agree with Newfld she is a made in Japan Geisha decor doll not a toy , they were common to bring back to USA from military men during WWII and into the 1970s .
