Hello everyone!!
You've seen the many John Wright Studios doorstops that I recently posted. This one is among my favorites. These rabbits appear to be raiding Mr. McGregor's garden and they'd found a treasure trove of mushrooms they are about to share among themselves. As with all of the John Wright Studio doorstops, this doorstop is so incredibly detailed and the paintwork is just impeccable. It's from the 1980's, so it's nowhere near being antique or vintage yet. This one is also quite large and measures 10 3/4" tall and 10 1/2" wide.

This one just jumped right out at me and I had to have it. I know what you mean about the mushrooms growing our of stumps. I lost an Amur Maple in my yard a few years back and every year thereon large mushrooms would grow out of that stump.

Such perfect detail as everyone’s said. For some reason the bucket, spigot and axe are what really hit me. Lol. But the bun-bun’s are adorable :-).
