This 2" circular goldtone brooch has two layers of prong set small rhinestones (clear & emerald green) with a textured golden elephant in the center. By Warner (1950s-1970s), orig design from the 1960s as election piece

Awh I adore that brooch! So simple but pretty with it's design- the elephant in the middle is very detailed too, trunk up is always a good sign- he seems so very proud! :)
I always loved Warner's extensive line of rhinestone jewels. This elephant is a winner !~

Thank you Searching for your marvelous compliments and agree it is too nice to be a political pin which is why after Warner made these for Nixon's early campaign (with his last name over the elephant), they decided to make it with just the plain elephant and it came in other rhinestone colors incl blue and red
Lauren you're so right, it is indeed good luck have a trunk raised elephant - tho perhaps not seeing a real one running at you on the African plain lol (I saw that happen to an actress on safari on one of those TV sport programs, it was chasing her jeep!).
