Philco Predicta Holiday Model 1958, Television Console Model

I receved this nice 1958 Philco Predicta Holiday Model on April 10. 2022
I thought I was finished buying months ago but it does not make me stop buying at all. and so I degress ! But apart from that it reminds me of my first beautiful apartment in Regina circa 1981 where I had a similar Philco Predicta t.v. but not this exact one. I remember not using it except Friday evenings when they had the original Buster Crabbe in Buck Rogers in the 21st? Century t.v. show on. I loved watching those old shows and nothing else on my first T.V.

This is the 2nd post on Philco Predicta Televisions I have posted and all 3 are a different model. I particularly loved the Philco Princess as it is the most compact !~

I doubt I'd be able to resist getting a Predicta myself (if I ever came across one, that is) -- what an undeniable *classic* design those TV's were?!!

Thanks AO, I remember watching that old show which when I lived in Regina I would only watch that one show. Now I can't find a station that plays it. Its nice to see so much info on these online now. You can find them online for sale but go to the auctions in your area. Maybe try HI-Bid auctions, not often in my area but this one !~

Anything Obscure I believe I meant to say to try icollector.com as that is where this one came paying from.

What a stylish 50s TV set, great score Phil! Kudos also on the magnificent image of Elizabeth Taylor with those captivating violet eyes

Thank you fortapache, you just have to look at your online auctions in your city and you might find one you missed and a good place to find one when they come up !~
